Weekend dedicated to the discovery of the brown Marsicano, the largest carnivore present in the Abruzzi region of which there are now only 50-60 specimens, present in all of Abruzzo Parks. We will conduct a brief rapprochement trip where you can watch for signs of bear presence, until arriving at the hut The Cicerana where we will stop for dinner, bed and breakfast. We will make two observations sessions, a sunset and a sunrise where with a bit of luck can be sighted the bear, but also many other species in the Abruzzo National Park, Lazio and Molise.

Day 1:
Ore 13.00 – Meeting point and departure by car from the Visitor Center of the coastal biotope of San Salvo Marina (CH)
Ore 15.45 – departure excursion
Ore 17.45 – Arrival at the shelter The Cicerana and accommodation in rooms (2 rooms with bunk beds)
Ore 18.30 – First sighting at sunset session
Ore 20.30 – Dinner at the refuge
Day 2:
Ore 06.30- Dawn of sighting LOGIN
Ore 08.30 – Breakfast in the Refuge
Ore 09.30 – Check hike back to the car
Ore 11.00 – Restart with cars

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: sweatshirt / fleece, windproof jacket, cape / poncho for rain, trekking shoes, relief items * (almonds, dried fruit, chocolate, barrette, fruit, etc) clothing parts, 2 L of water, Sun lotion, binoculars, winter cap, trekking poles, sacco by the, for personal hygiene material.
* In the refuge you can purchase water, and other foods at their own expense.

Participation fee: € 35,00 per participant (min. 6, max 15)
* The refuge is made up 2 rooms, one with 10 places of bunk beds and a 5 beds. E’ There is only one bathroom, the water is not drinkable and must parsimoniare with the electrical current supplied through a generator. There are no so the convenience of a classic B&B and sometimes a bit of patience and a spirit of sharing is required, we are indeed an association. However, we are in the midst of nature, isolated from the rest of the world, with the possibility of sighting wildlife and enjoy a wonderful starry sky. An experiential weekend rather than a holiday!
** They are included in the price sleeping bag for the night and rent sighting material (binoculars and professional telescope). E’ therefore necessary to bring with you only a sheet lot (if you do not have it you can buy it at the price of shelter 10 €). If you prefer to bring your own bag and its scope will not be deducted from any cost share as these materials are standard in offering a Tour Operator.

REGULATION EXCURSION
Travel expenses incurred by those who will provide their own car, They will be divided between those who use the car sharing service in the manner prescribed by the association's regulations available on our site. It is reminded with free excursion law that for the weekend bonus can not be used.
Participation is open to all prior association membership (or renewal for the current year). The membership fee is € 10 be paid prior, as described on the association's Regulation, or together with the participation fee excursion.
