At the northern edge of the Majella National Park, The Orta river runs precipitously last 10 km before emptying into the river Pescara waters. From here the hike will lead us to the waters dell'Orta, passing below the high towers of the Plain of Luchi rock. The rapids of Saint Lucia, where the river slips swirling in a narrow alley of water polished rock, They have a unique charm. We will conclude the excursion to Musellaro, where we will leave captivated by the charming legend of the Holy Cross.
In the afternoon we will reach the Zaccagnini estate at the event “Open Cellars 2017” It opens its gates to the public. This event has become, in the last few years, the most important wine-tourist event in Italy and, for the occasion, we will take a guided tour of the winery, with its artwork and its three hundred hectares of vineyards and especially the opportunity to taste all the wines produced on the estate.
