The proposed route is a big ring from Val Pigpen, passing at the picturesque Grotto Schievo, cavity of the rock from which flows the very cold spring water of the stream Rio Torto, It dates back to Lake Vivo, picturesque seasonal lake framed by some of the highest peaks of the Abruzzo Park. We will walk through lush beech woods and clearings dotted with a myriad of colorful mountain flowers including several species of wild orchids.

Ore 8,00 - Participants meet at the Visitor Centre of the coastal dune Biotope, waterfront C. Colombo north side, San Salvo Marina and travel by own car. To different sources, the appointment is scheduled directly on the place of beginning of the excursion.
