Trigno River marks the political border between Abruzzo and Molise, and in the valley where it flows arise graceful sinuous and characteristic villages. This excursion starts from one of these, Celenza sul Trigno, and will reach the river banks in locations where Licineto, in the immediate vicinity, a tireless sentry called Tower of Fara rises to the inhabitants of the valley protection. Along the way you will enjoy the flowering of several species of wild orchids, an unexpected cascade that precipitates from 10 meters in height in the Vallone of Caccavone and imposing rocky mass of Morgia, all immersed in a wonderful Mediterranean bush. We will have lunch at the organic farm Licineto tasting local organic products of downstream products from the farm itself.

Ore 9,00 – Participants meet at the Visitor Center of the coastal dune Biotope, waterfront C. Colombo north side, San Salvo Marina and travel by own car.
Ore 10,00 – Excursion starts from Celenza sul Trigno
Ore 13,00 – Lunch at the organic farm Licineto
Ore 16,00 – Arrival at the Tower of Fara and end of the excursion
Ore 17,00 – Return to San Salvo Marina
