Abruzzo, land of the parks, also called the Green Region of Europe, It protects approximately 30% of its territory. This, however, is not only Abruzzo mountains. Bathed by the clear waters of the Adriatic, the Abruzzo coast presents with extended stretches of fine sand, high cliffs of the Costa Trabocchi, by colorful Mediterranean, coastal sand dunes. This great morphological variety constitutes the substrate of a large organic varieties to now largely protected thanks to the presence of different coastal and marine natural reserves such as: The Marine Protected Area of ​​Torre del Cerrano, unique marine protected area of ​​Abruzzo, the Punta Reserve Aderci, famous for having been proclaimed by Legambiente the third most beautiful beach in Italy 2014, and establishing the National Park of Costa Trabocchi, with his “cars” Wooden fishing representing the ancient tradition of Abruzzo fishing. In the end the Botanical Garden Mediterraneo San Salvo, the largest botanical garden in Abruzzo, which it is unique on the entire Adriatic coast.
