Located on a rocky terrace in open, sunny location 1540 m altitude in the southern sector of the Majella National Park, Refuge Tari offers a magnificent panorama that stretches from the Valley of the Aventino and Sangro, Vasto to the mountains to the Adriatic coast. Structure completely renovated where we will taste a little aperitif made from local produce and a great plate of pasta cooked by our staff. After a short trail will reach the Caves of the Breaker where we will have a guided tour before falling back with cestovia near the cave.

PROGRAM:
Ore 8,30 - Departure from the Visitor Center of Coastal biotope, waterfront C. Colombo north side, San Salvo Marina and travel by own car (those who do not have car can make use of car sharing service). For different backgrounds, the appointment is expected at the exit from the highway at Val Sangri (A14) or directly at the point of beginning of the excursion.
Ore 10,15 - Check hike from the parking site near the wildlife of the chamois in the town of Lama dei Peligni.
Ore 12.30 – Tasting lunch at the Refuge Source Tarì.
Ore 15,30 - Guided tour of the Caves of the Breaker
Ore 19,00 - Back at the Visitor Center of Coastal biotope of San Salvo.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
sweatshirt / fleece, windbreaker, cape / poncho for rain possible, hiking boots, minimum 1,5 l of water per person, comfort food, packed lunch.
