The High Molise is little known and visited mountain area, but houses and landscapes of great interest naturalistic. E’ the case of the Forest of Firs Sopranos, a forest flap from the Alpine characteristics consisting of white fir, Quaternary glaciations of wrecks. The forest is dominated by the peak of Mount Field with its 1746 m is one of the highest summits of Molise. The easy and enjoyable journey will reach the mountain peak and then plunge into the cool woods after driving a long, panoramic crest, from where you can enjoy a wide landscape that stretches from the Majella to the Adriatic coast.

PROGRAM:
Ore 8,00 – Participants Meet at the Visitor Center of Coastal biotope, waterfront C. Colombo north side, San Salvo Marina and travel by own car. To different sources, the appointment is scheduled directly on the place of beginning of the excursion.
Ore 10,00 – Check excursion to the Botanical Garden of the Apennine flora in the town of Capracotta (IS)
Ore 13.30 – Term excursions and optional lunch at the White Fir Park (starter, polenta, beef steak, sweet of home, coffee and drinks: € 20)
Ore 17,00– Return at the Visitor Center of Coastal Biotope of San Salvo.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
sweatshirt / fleece, windproof jacket / Softshell, cape / poncho for rain possible, hiking boots, 1,5 l of water per person, comfort food, packed lunch.

REGULATION EXCURSION
