Ancient folk tales tell of giant men in a distant time bloated built walls to defend a rich treasure. In many they tried in vain for the legendary treasure, still buried in some cleverly hidden from view cave hikers for centuries run through the ancient paths of Monte Pallano.
The excursion in the Natural Archaeological Park will lead us walk to the megalithic walls of the IV-V century. a.C. through various natural environments, the forest of oaks and hornbeams, the sunny clearings dense gorse, the beechwood fresh. The breathtaking view of the Majella and the Adriatic, of which we will enjoy along the crest, make the day memorable.
And if you do not you'll still pay of nature and legends, we can also satisfy the palate. A Tornareccio they produce extraordinary honeys, celebrated every year with the great Queen of Honey Event. A stop at the company Adi Beekeeping allow us to taste the sweet delicacies of this land.

PROGRAM:

EQUIPMENT NECESSARY: hiking boots, 1 liters of water, cape / poncho for rain.
